At IIDT Escala Technologies, we back every EDEAS student with a written placement guarantee. This is not a verbal promise or a marketing tagline — it is a formal agreement signed at the time of admission that commits us to placing you in a full-time role with a minimum monthly salary of ₹25,000.
This page explains the full terms of the guarantee: what we commit to, what is expected from you, and what happens if placement does not occur within the defined window.

What Is Expected from You
The placement guarantee is conditional. Students must meet the following requirements to remain eligible:
Attendance:
• Maintain a minimum of 80% attendance throughout the 9-month program
• Attendance is tracked and non-negotiable — this is a full-time, on-campus program
Interview Participation:
• Attend a minimum of 2 company interviews arranged by IIDT Escala
• Prepare professionally for each interview (resume, presentation, punctuality)
• Students who decline or skip interviews without valid reason may lose eligibility
Course Completion:
• Complete all 15 modules of the EDEAS program
• Submit all required assignments and projects
• Pass any assessments or evaluations as part of the program
Professional Conduct:
• Maintain professional behaviour on campus and during placement interviews
• Follow the institute’s code of conduct throughout the program
If an eligible student is not placed in a full-time role within 9 months of completing the EDEAS program, despite meeting all eligibility conditions (80% attendance, interview participation, course completion), the refund terms outlined in the signed agreement will apply.
The specific refund amount and process are defined in the written agreement signed at admission. Students and parents can review the full agreement document in person at our campus before making their admission decision.
Course Refund Policy
This section covers voluntary withdrawal from the program, which is separate from the placement guarantee refund:
| Withdrawal Period | Refund Terms |
|---|---|
| Within the 1st month of enrolment | Full refund, no questions asked |
| After the 1st month | Refund subject to terms in the signed agreement |
If you decide to withdraw from the EDEAS program within the first month of enrolment, a full refund of the course fee is provided with no questions asked. After the first month, refund eligibility and amounts are governed by the terms specified in the admission agreement.
We encourage prospective students and their families to review the full agreement at our campus before making their enrolment decision.
For Aspiring Entrepreneurs
Not every EDEAS graduate wants a job — some want to build their own business. We support that.
Students who choose the entrepreneurship path after completing the EDEAS program can use the IIDT Escala office and facilities at KINFRA Advanced Technology Park for a period of 1 to 1.5 years to develop and launch their business idea. This includes workspace access, mentorship from the founding team, and access to the EDEAS community network.
Students who opt for the entrepreneurship track are choosing this path in place of the placement guarantee — they will not be placed in a company, but will instead receive incubation-style support to build their own venture.
